I think they air-brushed out the rear seat supports of the banana seat for the cover, which makes sense. He's going for a 1953 Marlon Brando reference on a girl's bike, which wouldn't make perfect sense on a mid-60's, early 70's bike. Good work by somebody who's probably not a gay production assistant.
